Finding time to work and sew with a newborn has been much harder than I anticipated. Much harder. To prove it, I have these two patterns written. They have been written, photgraphed and modeled. All I need to do is type them up and send them to testing and then they will be ready for the shop. I am really hoping to have them ready in the next month because I hate having these projects partially finished. Plus they are just too cute not to be listed in my shop!
This one is an elbow length ruffle sleeve twist on a peasant dress. I plan to layer it over jeans and leggings once the weather cools off (keep in mind my daughter was modeling this in August)
This one is actually a pattern written for knit fabrics. It looks fancy but is actually quite easy and would be perfect for beginners or those who have never tried knits.
What do you think?

I would buy both of them! Adorable, can;t wait for them to be in your shop!
ReplyDeleteA-DORABLE! Hoping I can get in on the testing. Don't beat yourself up. Having a newborn is tough!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! I especially like the knit top - it's really different than other patterns I've seen. I have daughters in size 5 & 9 if you need testers :-) Angie mamalusco at ortelco dot net

ReplyDeleteLOVE both of these and praying I can get in on the testing phase for both!!!=) I am taking a sewing with knits course thru whipstitch fabrics and have LOVED everything I have made with knits so far ( a tank top, baby blanket and headband- starting a shirt for me today=) so I have been looking for knit patterns!!
ReplyDeletehave in there- my little boy turned 11 weeks olds this past tues and is finally sleeping pretty much thru the night! I feel like a new woman again!

ReplyDeleteI really like the first one! I so need to get in on the testing for this! I love the knit dress too! Never sewen with knits but that would make me a good beginner tester!
ReplyDeleteYES! I would buy both. Love 'em. I have 5 daughters ranging from ages 1 to 16. I have already submitted to be a pattern tester...so....lemme know! :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm your return customer. I never commented before, but too excited not to this time. Too cute!! Love the new patterns, I'd snap 'em up in a beat! Will wait patiently :)
ReplyDeleteSabrina these are both so cute!! I have some knits just waiting for me to get a pattern for them, so I'm going to be looking out for that tester email! I know how hard it is though to do all that. This craziness will pass, and you'll have solid chunks of sleep time soon! (The only time I can ever work is after my daughter is in bed for the night.)
