Featured Shop: Lillianna Marie Designs

This weeks featured shop is Lillianna Marie Designs. This shop is packed with amazing hair accessories for your little girl (and you!). Just look at all these designs...

Nicole, the designer behind these precious blooms loves fabric as much as I do! Our "stories" are quite similar in fact...maybe that is why I like her shop so much! Here is a little of what Nicole has to say about herself:

"Hello *shyly waves* my name is Nicole and I'm a fabricaholic. I can't help but to touch it as I walk through the fabric store, I'm always picking up that few extra fat quarters, not knowing what I will do with them, just knowing I HAVE to have them. I love textures and colors, I love mixing and matching it all, and I am so very blessed to have a job that lets me play with them all!


Originally I'm a scrapbook designer and teacher. I worked at a wonderful local store for many years, was on some amazing nationwide design teams, and was published in magazines like Take Ten and Papercrafts. With the birth of my second son though (Yes can you believe I live with all boys, even our pets, I can't win!) I decided I needed to work from home exclusively. I designed from home for a year, when I started making scrapbook embellishments and selling them on Etsy. People started buying my felt flowers and making them into hair clips, and there was my ah ha moment! I closed the scrapbook Etsy shop, stopped designing for the scrapbook store and started on this crazy adventure of fabric flowers. I've had so much fun creating flowers in all shapes and sizes with all different types of fabrics using lots of different techniques! I'm proud to be able to offer beautiful blooms for all ages! I've done everything from newborn headbands to bridal veils and bouquets. I've gotten to really connect with my wonderful customers on a personal level through the Lillianna Marie Designs facebook page, made some wonderful friendships, and met other like minded Mommy/Designers who I now work with to offer made to match lines to your favorite Etsy children's clothing designers. It's been an amazing creative journey, and I truly feel blessed!"

 I love brown flowers for fall. The texture combination here is so pretty.
