Thankful Thursday

I have so much to be thankful for this year, big and small. Every thursday this month I am going to share with you a little about what I am thankful for.

First and foremost, I am thankful for my awesome husband. I could seriously tell you some stories that would make you swoon...Like how my husband has daddy/daughter day EVERY Saturday. No matter what. He lets me sleep in (that is before the new baby was born) and gets our daughter up, takes her out of the house on an adventure, feeds her lunch and does naptime...all by himself. every.single. saturday. For over 2 years now. It has been such a blessing. Before the baby was born I was able to do whatever I wanted with my Saturdays- sew, pedicure, naps, girl time, whatever. Now I am able to enjoy a little peace with just the baby. It is wonderful. My husband also cooks, cleans, does dishes. Oh yea, and he loves me. Seriously, he rocks. I totally don't deserve him.

I am also thankful for my healthy children. There are so many parents that are suffering with sick children or the loss of children and it is heartbreaking. I thank God for my perfect and healthy babies.

I am also so thankful for a God that loves me unconditionally. Period. Enough said.

On a fun note, I am thankful for color. I love color. Whether it is in fish or fabric, our world is just so amazingly colorful and I love it. Fall is the perfect time of year to be thankful for color.

What are you thankful for? Will you participate with me? Leave your thankful comments...or would you like me to put up a linky to your own thankful thursday posts?

Let me just say, YES, YOU DO DESERVE YOUR WONDERFUL HUSBAND! Never let anyone ever tell you different. I remember watching you grow up, cousin. I am proud of the independent spit-fire you were as a little girl and I am proud of the incredible woman and mother you are today. Steve is a very lucky guy and he well knows it. I am thankful that you have each other and I am thankful that you are part of my family. You and Bronwyn have always meant more to me than cousins; you are the sisters that I never had.

I LOVE this idea! We have so much to be thankful for that we often do not even notice.
