Featured Shop: KM Thomas Designs

 

This weeks featured etsy shop is KM Thomas Designs. I found Krysta's shop like I do many others- browsing through etsy. This particular time I was looking for a birth announcement for our newest addition. I came to this shop and stopped looking.

Several of Krysta's designs had elements that I was looking for, but were not exactly right. I sent her a message seeing if something custom could be designed. She got right back to me and we started discussing what I was looking for. Krysta was so easy to work with and what she came back with was stunning! Just look at our gorgeous birth announcement! It is perfect!

Here is a little of what designer, Krysta, has to say about herself:

"My name is Krysta Thomas and I LOVE to create and design custom announcements and invitations. It started as a hobby, when I decided to quit my day job (as an interior designer) and become a stay at home mom. Now it has flourished into a successful business that I LOVE and still allows me to spend quality time with my children.

My husband and I have three wonderful, energtic children, Justin (7), Allison (4), and Alexandrea (2) and baby number 4 due in May!"

If you are unfamiliar with digital card designs, it is so cool! The designer creates the digital image for you and sends you a high resolution file to work with. You can then either send the image to a photo studio (think shutterfly, ofoto, etc) to have printed on photo paper- for pennies...or you can send the image to a printer to be printed on cardstock. It is up to you!

The best part- Did you print 100 cards out only to realize that you needed 125? No problem! Just send the image to your local photo printer (think Walgreens, Sams, etc) and have them done in an hour. Seriously, it is a wonderful process.

If you want to have your cards printed on card stock but don't want to mess with sending them to a printer, Krysta also offers printing services in her shop as well. Her printing prices are extremely affordable...this is the route that I took and I was thrilled with the quality.
