My little ballerina
One of my sponsors, Ragadoodle, generously offered to make something for my daughter. Emerson is almost 3 and started dance class this year. She needed something to carry her dance stuff in and this bag is just perfect. To say that she loves it would be a serious understatement.
The heart on the bag is sparkly!
It is the perfect size to throw her dance shoes and a snack into.
You can't tell from the pictures, but the other side of the bag is personalized with her name!
She doesn't look happy in this picture (she was tired of the camera) but I promise you that she loves it. She shows her dance bag to everyone that comes over.
If you like this bag, you are in for a treat. Ragadoodle is having a giveaway here next week. Stay tuned!

Handmade Halloween
Making your own Halloween costumes can be really fun and a lot less expensive than buying them. It is also a great way to come up with something super creative and outside of the box.
There are lots of free Halloween costume tutorials to be found online. With just a few minutes of searching, I came up with this list. There are some seriously cute ones and many of them are really easy. So, if you are looking for some ideas for your kiddos, this is a good place to start.
Do you have any costume tutorials to share? If so, link them in the comments and I will add them to this post.
*Note* None of these tutorials are written by myself. So, if you end up using one please leave a comment for the author on their blogs linked above.
Enjoy.

Featured Shop: Stitcheroos
This weeks featured shop is a personalizing mom's dream. Stitcheroos is full of all kinds of goodies that can be personalized, everything from backpacks and towels to personalized birthday outfits. The owner, Adrienne, is a super sweet mom of 7 that runs the business from home so that she can stay at home with her kids.
Here is a little of what Adrienne says about herself: "Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a mom...I just didn't realize it would be to 7 kiddos! 4 of my own and 3 wonderful stepchildren. I also always knew that I wanted to be a stay at home mom. After being married to my husband Dave, staying at home just didn't look like it was going to be able to happen...and then along came Stitcheroos. Not only do I get to work at home and be with my kiddos, so does my husband! We both run Stitcheroos out of our basement studio with the help of most of our kids".
Look at this cute family!
"Stitcheroos started out as a small business in 2007..it was definitely more of a hobby than a business! I taught preschool from home at that point but needed to do something more to be able to continue staying home with the kids. My mom has been an embroidery seamstress for 15+ years and it seems like I was always asking her to create gift items for me. So when the thought came to me to start doing craft fairs, embroidery was my first thought. Since that time Stitcheroos has become an online presence in Birthday attire, specializing in first birthday onesie and tutu sets. I feel so privileged to be able to create these fun outfits to help commemorate such a special and fun occasion. It COMPLETELY makes my day when I get pictures sent in from happy customers".
"I LOVE custom requests and I of course offer MUCH more then just birthday clothing. One of my biggest goals at Stitcheroos has been to keep my prices reasonable. I am like many other mommies...on a budget, so I'm always conscious of my prices. I'm also always on the lookout for new and fun ideas to both sew and embroider so if you ever have anything in mind please feel free to holler!
At times I can get completely overwhelmed with household responsibilities, being a mom and running a business, but overall running Stitcheroos has been a complete blessing. I can't imagine not spending this quality time with my children- all while getting to do a job each day that I love!"
Not only does Stitcheroos have an etsy site and a main website, but Adrienne is opening a sister site that will carry the unique embroidery designs that she has created. This will be the perfect place for you to shop if you want to create these designs for yourself!
Adrienne is generously giving away a $20 gift certificate for her shop to 1 winner. The giveaway will remain open until midnight Thursday, October 7th.
